In order to implement the spirit of the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan and Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Vocational Education, promote the transformation of Shanghai's secondary and higher vocational education from scale development to high-quality development, and create an efficient team of secondary and higher vocational management cadres, On September 25, the national training project of the Shanghai Vocational College Quality Improvement Plan 2022 Collaborative Seminar for Secondary and Higher Vocational Management Cadres opened in our school. This training is undertaken by Higher Vocational and Technical (International) College. 52 professional leaders, teaching and research team leaders, department directors, and full-time teachers from 17 secondary and higher vocational colleges in Shanghai gathered in Conference Room 301 of the Academic Exchange Center. Yu Xijia, deputy director of the Personnel Department of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Zhang Jun, dean of the Higher Vocational and Technical (International) College, and Li Taibin and Ye Weidong, vice deans, attended the conference. Yu Xijia brought a cloud speech to the training class. He said that vocational education has entered a new stage of high-quality development, shouldering the major national strategic development tasks of serving a skill-based society and building a manufacturing power. Subsequently, Ye Weidong introduced the training course. This training course combines theory and practice, invites more than 30 experts to give lectures, integrates practical investigation, interactive exchanges, and covers secondary and higher vocational management,vocational education concepts, vocational education methods, management ability improvement, craftsman spirit and vocational education, innovation and entrepreneurship and other modules.

After the opening ceremony, Bao Qifan, Dean of Shanghai Model Worker College, gave the first lecture entitled Practicing Core Values in Innovation. Focusing on the three aspects of the foundation of innovation, the root of innovation, and the source of innovation, with vivid stories of innovation and struggle, it tells the perseverance in the practice of core values behind the fruitful results, the original intention of craftsman spirit under innovative wisdom, and the pursuit of excellence.
